This is an example of a work / life business, however our model is very flexible and is tailored to your individual circumstances. We have not based our projections on a number of clients or average income per client as you will experience fluctuations between the amount you invoice different clients depending on the demand for your services. Our projections are based on the number of hours available to you and we are not expecting you to work all those long hours, unless of course you want to! As an individual trading without employees, we believe that you can earn a minimum realistic turnover on average of £120 per day, 5 days per week and 48 weeks a year, so allowing for some holiday! However you may choose to work less hours per day to ensure you retain the work / life balance that many of us start our own business to achieve. Our realistic projections are on the basis that you may not wish or be able to earn 24 hours per day and 7 days a week, but of course the higher earning hours you have available then the higher your earnings will be. Simply based on a 25 hour earning week, a business owner working alone, allowing for holidays and also after service charges, can earn a minimum of £21,600. In addition, each employee can earn you a minimum of £6,000 extra profit, again based on an earning week of 25 hours and after service charges. We estimate your initial annual costs to be in the region of £5,720 (however no allowance is made for offices, local advertising, training and finance repayments). As part of our offer, we will discuss with you a financial forecast for your prospective business, that will demonstrate the expected return on investment for your personal circumstances. As with any business there are always risks associated with business success or failure and during our discussions we will highlight the key factors that determine how your return can be achieved.
