Our franchise licence package will include:

• Your Licence, for use of the A1 brand, for a period of 5 years (renewable without further investment)
• Allocation of a trading area on a ‘non-exclusive’ basis, encouraging you to work with and support fellow A1 Franchisees and not restricting your own trading area

• The tested and proven A1 operations manual covering every element required to run a successful bookkeeping business including easy to follow checklists
• Our comprehensive full training programme to operate the A1 bookkeeping system AND everything you will need to run your own business including operations, marketing and compliance. This includes your initial training event with other franchisees
• The support of your own dedicated support manager, who can advice on all elements of running your business such as marketing, recruitment, management, legislation, trusted suppliers and more  Day to day technical support from our bookkeepers and accountants, thereby covering all areas that are likely to impact your work for clients
• Access to a 'secure area' discussion board forum to access frequently asked questions, best practice tips and problems solving suggestions
• Our user friendly guide to meet the Money Laundering regulations that impacts all bookkeepers
• A 'proven' marketing plan for attracting new clients together with samples of successful marketing letters, flyers, and adverts together with ongoing guidance from your support manager
• You own Sage software licence (multi company version) ensuring you are using and familiar with the most recognised accounts package in the industry
• Customer Relationship Management software package incorporating an email communication package for the first year
• Membership of the Institute of certified bookkeepers for the first year (subject to meeting the eligibility criteria)
• Your initial corporate stationery package including your own business cards
• A CD or USB incorporating all the documents and templates you will require
• Our business start up guide covering all those important considerations
• Your own personal email address @a1financials.co.uk
• Your own personalised web page with your contact details on the national web site with ongoing search engine optimisation
• A monthly newsletter with legislation updates, tips and more
• Ongoing events for your continued professional development
• The A1 team will continually work to promote the A1 brand nationally and all leads generated from this activity will be passed to the local franchisee.

All for a low entry cost of £4,500, including your A1 systems training (subject to VAT).

From our research, we suggest you do not need to pay any more to start your own franchise supported bookkeeping business.
It is our business model that we are successful if we help and support you to run your own "successful" business. We do not rely on charging you large upfront fees with no guarantees.

Although optional, why have we not included a specific marketing launch campaign? Our market research indicated a desire to keep the entry cost as low and flexible as possible. We also learnt that not everyone wanted the marketing cost upfront and in reality as a business owner you are marketing all the time. So our model has been established to provide you with the proven marketing techniques as part of your operations manual, within the initial training plus ongoing guidance and support that will help you find clients. This package will therefore create the habits that makes your day to day marketing effective.

We therefore do not charge a monthly marketing contribution percentage or fee.

We have also designed optional support services to help you further with your set up, marketing and development. These are offered at an additional cost to the licence fee, with the objective of making the entry cost as low as possible and focusing on the value return for your commitment.

For existing bookkeepers, we do not charge the usual 10% monthly management fee on your existing business for the first two years.
